Portion of Highway 11 Previously Closed Now Open

The Hawai‘i Police Department reported shortly after 9 p.m. that the portion of Highway 11 in South Kona that had been closed because of a traffic accident is reopen.

Police said the roadway at the 92-mile marker near Miloli‘i is open to both lanes of traffic.

They also encouraged motorists to drive safely.
