DOH Reports 2,050 New COVID Cases Statewide

The state Department of Health reported 2,050 new COVID-19 cases Wednesday, bringing the statewide total to 208,887. Three new fatalities were reported.

A total of 150 new infections were identified Wednesday on the Big Island. On Tuesday, The Civil Defense reported 5,468 active cases, and 42 persons hospitalized.

O‘ahu: 147,206
Hawaiʻi: 22,013
Maui: 24,634
Kaua‘i: 8,908
Moloka‘i: 836
Lana‘i: 488
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 4,802

A total of 7,361 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,149 have died.
