HPD Seeks Public Help Finding Runaway Teen Girl

Authorities are seeking the public’s help locating a 16-year-old girl reported as a runaway.

Precious Anderson was last seen at a school in the Downtown Hilo area on Jan. 12, 2022, at approximately 7:30 a.m., wearing a black t-shirt, American Eagle brand white pants, a gold rope chain with a pendant that reads “Kuʻuipo,” and unknown shoes.

Hawaiʻi Police describe the teen as being 5 feet 1 inch tall, 100 pounds, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. Anderson has no distinguishing scars, marks or tattoos.

Police ask anyone who may have any information on the whereabouts of Anderson to contact the HPD’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
