HPD Seeks Help Finding Missing Hilo Woman

Authorities seek the public’s help locating a Hilo woman who has been reported missing.

Thirty-nine-year-old Amy Smith was last seen on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2022, around 3 p.m. on Wainaku Street in Hilo.

Hawai‘i police describe Smith as Caucasian, 5 feet 5, inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown eyes and blonde hair.

Police ask anyone with information on Smith’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311 or contact Officer Onan Masaoka at [email protected].
