3,586 Cases, 3 Deaths Reported Statewide

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 3,586 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 134,442. Three new fatalities were reported.

A total of 286 new infections were identified Friday on the Big Island. The Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense Agency reports 2,698 active cases, and 26 persons hospitalized.

A total of 5,343 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,101 have died.
