State Reports 3,044 New Cases of COVID-19

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 3,044 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 121,864. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 359 new infections were identified Monday on the Big Island. Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense Agency reports 1,824 active cases, and nine persons hospitalized.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
- O‘ahu: 86,830
- Hawaiʻi: 13,909
- Maui: 12,716
- Kaua‘i: 4,299
- Moloka‘i: 391
- Lana‘i: 185
- Pending: 0
- Out-of-State: 3,534
A total of 5,292 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,094 have died.
