The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test on Kumula Street in Pepeʻekeo on Jan. 4, 2022.

Customers affected include those who live along Kumula Street between Kaʻakepa Street to Kulaʻimano Road, between Highway 19 and Loea Place, including Kulaʻimano Elderly Housing and Kauhale Olu Apartments as well as all side roads and lanes.

The test will occur between 10-11 p.m. The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test. Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.

Should customers experience any unusual problems during or after the flushing period, call Mr. Carl Nishimura, District Supervisor, at 808-961-8790.
