State Reports 3,178 New Cases of COVID on Sunday

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 3,178 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 118,820. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 238 new infections were identified Sunday on the Big Island.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
- O‘ahu: 84,664
- Hawaiʻi: 13,550
- Maui: 12,443
- Kaua‘i: 4,175
- Moloka‘i: 389
- Lana‘i: 179
- Pending: 0
- Out-of-State: 3,420
A total of 5,293 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,094 have died.
