Swell Summary

The trade wind swell will continue to subside as the trade winds shift to the south. A small to moderate northwest pulse is slated to arrive late Saturday. A large northwest swell is expected to arrive Wednesday afternoon that may warrant a High Surf Advisory for the north and west facing shores of most islands.

Surf: Waist to stomach high ENE short period wind swell for the morning with occasional chest high sets. The swell builds in the afternoon with sets up to shoulder high.

Conditions: Glassy with W winds less than 5mph in the morning shifting ENE for the afternoon.

NORTH WEST

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.

Conditions: Clean in the morning with SSE winds 15-20mph. Light sideshore texture conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SSW 5-10mph.

WEST

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.

Conditions: Fairly clean in the morning with ESE winds 10-15mph. Sideshore texture/chop conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SSE 5-10mph.

SOUTH EAST

Surf: Knee to thigh high ENE short period wind swell in the morning builds a bit for the afternoon.

Conditions: Choppy/disorganized with SSW winds 10-15mph in the morning shifting S 5-10mph in the afternoon.
