DOH Reports 3,290 New COVID Cases Statewide

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 3,290 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 112,932. Five new fatalities were reported.

A total of 256 new infections were identified Friday on the Big Island. The Civil Defense reported 1,110 active cases and nine persons hospitalized.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

A total of 5,273 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,090 have died.
