HPD Renews Request for Help in Finding Missing Kona Man

Christopher Polifka

Authorities are renewing their request for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Kona man.

Sixty-seven-year-old Christopher A. Polifka was reported missing by his family on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021.

Hawai‘i police described Polifka as being Caucasian with a medium build, 6 feet, 1 inch tall, 165 pounds, with reddish-blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in Kailua-Kona on Nov. 24, 2020, and may have been making his way towards the Ocean View area in the Ka‘ū district.

Anyone with any information on Polifka’s whereabouts is asked to call Detective Anson Caceres of the Area II Criminal Investigation Section at 808-326-4646 ext. 225, send an email at [email protected], or call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300.
