824 New COVID Cases Reported Statewide

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 824 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 104,597. No fatalities were reported.
A total of 50 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Big Island. The Civil Defense reports 650 active cases and six persons hospitalized.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
- O‘ahu: 73,568
- Hawaiʻi: 12,593
- Maui: 11,098
- Kaua‘i: 3,637
- Moloka‘i: 318
- Lana‘i: 157
- Pending: 0
- Out-of-State: 3,226
A total of 5,238 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,082 have died.
