State Reports 2,205 New COVID Cases Sunday

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 2,205 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 102,389. Four fatalities were reported.

A total of 118 new infections were identified Sunday on the Big Island.

A map documenting new cases by district throughout all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

  • O‘ahu: 71,794
  • Hawaiʻi: 12,440
  • Maui: 10,920
  • Kaua‘i: 3,597
  • Moloka‘i: 291
  • Lana‘i: 157
  • Pending: 0
  • Out-of-State: 3,190

A total of 5,221 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,082 have died.
