Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Big Island Summits

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory in effect for Big Island summits until noon.
Freezing rain is anticipated, which will result in light icing. As a result, slippery roads are possible. Conditions will make travel difficult.
Motorists are advised to be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibility.
