Kona Grand Jury Indicts Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting 6-Year-Old Child

A Kona grand jury filed an indictment against a man accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old child.

On Tuesday, Dec. 14, Wayronn Carrasco-Rosalves was indicted on charges of third-degree sexual assault and third-degree solicitation of sexual assault.

According to charging documents, Carrasco-Rosalves allegedly sexually abused the child on about Aug. 12, 2020.

Additionally, the indictment indicates Carrasco-Rosalves did “knowingly command, encourage or request another person” to engage in sexual conduct with the same reported victim. This incident reportedly occurred on or about Aug. 22, 2020.

The charges leveled against Carrasco-Rosalves are both class C felonies.
