Power Outages Reported Islandwide

Hawaiian Electric reports multiple outages islandwide.
Areas include Kurtistown to Volcano, South Kona from the Ocean View area to Kealia. Customers that experienced outages from earlier today, Dec. 5, should expect to remain without power until at least tomorrow, officials stated on social media.
Hawaiian Electric has reported some power has been restored. Follow road closures on the county hazad map here.

Customers who experienced outages fr earlier today should expect to remain w/o power until at least tmrw as storm conditions are expected thru the night. Crews are focusing on the transmission system and working w/ State and County to keep hwys open.
