No Injuries Reported After Pāhoa Structure Fire

No injuries were reported after a structure in Pāhoa this morning, Nov. 13.

Hawaiʻi Fire Department responded to the blaze, located on the 15-2700 block of Nenue Street, at approximately 8:30 a.m. When they arrived on scene, firefighters found a 25-foot-by-25-foot wood-framed single-family residence partially involved in flames.

The house appeared to be abandoned with very little content and there were no signs of occupants on scene. HFD units returned to quarters after overhaul was completed.

HFD estimates a loss of $140,000.
