Pop-Up COVID Vaccine Clinic Scheduled Thursday for Keiki Ages 5 and Up
A free pop-up COVID-19 clinic is scheduled at the Kona Commons McDonald’s, located at 74-5453 Makala Blvd., for keiki ages 5 and up on Thursday, Nov. 11.
The Bay Clinic staff will administer shots from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pfizer vaccines will be available for keiki ages 5 and up. Booster doses will also be available, per CDC guidelines. The Moderna vaccine and booster will also be offered at the clinic.
Another free pop-up clinic will be held at the fast-food restaurant on Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. West Hawaiʻi Community Health Center staff will administer shots. Moderna will be offered as well as a limited supply of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Adults are required to have a photo ID if they come to get vaccinated at the clinic. An insurance card is preferred, although not mandatory. Vaccination cards must be shown for second or third doses.
The clinics are in partnership with West Hawaiʻi Community Health Center, Bay Clinic and Kona Commons Shopping Center, McDonald’s. Everyone receiving a vaccination at one of these two clinics will get a coupon for a free McDonald’s combo meal.
