HPD Locates 4 Reported Runaways Over 2 Days

Hawai‘i Island police report that four runaways in East Hawai‘i have been located in the past two days.
On Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, 17-year-old Makahiki Moala was located in Hilo in good health. Later that same day, 17-year-old Koalii Kuhia was located in Puna in good health.
On Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021, two runaways, 16-year-old Kaeia Fleming-White and 14-year-old Jaidon Wieland-Vierra, were located in Puna in good health.

Information from the public often proves crucial to the department’s ability to find missing persons and runaways on the Big Island.
