No Injuries Reported After Hilo Shed Fire

No injuries were reported after a shed was destroyed in a fire in Hilo Thursday, Oct. 21.

At approximately 12:55 p.m., Hawaiʻi Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 85 Nalani St. When they arrived on scene they found a 10-foot-by-10-foot shed ablaze being controlled by its occupants.

Crews assisted and used a booster line and class A foam to extinguish the fire. HFD provided no information on the cause of the blaze at this time.

The shed was a total loss with damages amounting in $6,500.
