HPD Locates 2 Reported Runaways Tuesday

Hawaiʻi Island police on Tuesday, Oct. 12 reported that two East Hawai‘i runaways had been located in Hilo and were found in good health.

Isabel Hoffman, 14, of Kea´au, went missing on Sunday, Oct. 10. She was last seen on that day during the late afternoon hours in the Hawaiian Paradise Park area.

Joshua Rapp, 18, of Hilo, was reported as a runaway back in September and was subsequently located one day later. His most recent disappearance was a separate incident.

Information provided by the community often plays a significant role in helping authorities locate missing persons and runaways on the Big Island.
