HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR SOUTH FACING SHORES

Swell Summary

Surf along south and east facing shores will remain around the advisory-level today, then steadily ease through the first half of the week as the winds begin to notch down and the south swell moves out. Surf along north facing shores will remain small through midweek, then potentially trend up Friday into the weekend as a small, northwest swell arrives.

NORTH EAST

Surf: Stomach to shoulder high ENE short period wind swell in the morning builds to chest to head high for the afternoon.

Conditions: Choppy/disorganized with ESE winds 15-20mph in the morning decreasing to 10-15mph in the afternoon.

NORTH WEST

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.

Conditions: Glassy in the morning with S winds 5-10mph. Sideshore texture/chop conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting to the SW.

WEST

Surf: Minimal (ankle high or less) surf.

Conditions: Glassy in the morning with E winds less than 5mph. Semi glassy/semi bumpy conditions for the afternoon with the winds shifting SSW 5-10mph.

SOUTH EAST

Surf: Waist to chest high E short period wind swell in the morning builds to chest to shoulder high for the afternoon.

Conditions: Choppy/disorganized with ENE winds 15-20mph.
