Halekiʻi Market Returns to South Kona
Halekiʻi Market will return to the Big Island this Saturday, Oct. 2.
The event will take place on the grounds of Kona Grill House, located at 81-951 Haleki’i Street in Kealakekua, from 9 am to 2 pm. Local art vendors, fresh food and live music will be offered.
The market will also feature its Keiki Entrepreneur candidates, presenting offerings such as beauty aides, custom tech-art printing products, artisanal crafts, personalized home decor products and specialized desserts.
Community outreach to include:
- The Maʻi Movement — bring donations of feminine products to stop period poverty
- Kona Lions Club — drop off your used prescription glasses on-site
- Circle Pack Hawaiʻi — shred your clean cardboard and use it for mulch, packing or pet bedding

Recently established in February 2020, Haleki’i FMCF is a monthly community collective serving the Big Island community with local kuleana and ʻohana-centered outreach, small business merchant offerings, sustainability focused and culturally enriched recreational programs and resources. Weekly highlights include free outdoor concert series with industry trending artists.
