The US Military has announced another day of convoys Thursday, Sept. 23. Convoys will begin at 8 a.m. and finish by 3 p.m.
Thursday is the fourth day within the last week that convoys have traveled from Kawaihae Harbor to Pōhakuloa Training Area (PTA).
Motorists are advised to use caution when passing convoys, as speeds are slower than normal, typically around 20 mph.
Convoy leaders will use straight-away sections of Waikoloa Access Road and Daniel K. Inouye Highway to pull over and allow motorists to pass safely.
