HPD Seeks Kurtistown Runaway

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Koali‘i Kuhia, who was reported as a runaway.
Kuhia was last seen in the Kurtistown area on Wednesday, Sept 22, 2021, between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. and may have a black backpack. He is described as having a tan complexion, standing at 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing 130-145 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
Police ask anyone who may have information on Kuhia’s whereabouts to contact the department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
