Learn how to have a say in which bills become law on Sept. 23 at 6 pm, the Zonta Club of Hilo hosts a free Zoom meeting on the Hawaii Public Access Room.

Ever wonder how laws are created in our state and how you can try to affect them?  The Legislature’s Public Access Room (PAR) will share its “Your Voice” Presentation to demystify our state’s legislative process and teach citizens how they can have a say in which bills become law.

Learn about the legislative process, deadlines, and power dynamics at the state capitol, as well as gain tips and techniques on effective lobbying, testimony, and communicating with state senators and representatives.

Zonta Club of Hilo is member of Zonta International, whose mission is to empower women worldwide through service and advocacy.
