The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 474 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 75,480.

12 new COVID-related deaths were also reported Sunday.

A total of 77 new infections were identified on the Big Island Sunday.

The state’s two-week average is now 491 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 5.9%. A map documenting new cases by district across all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

O‘ahu: 52,646
Hawai‘i: 9,452
Maui: 8,712
Kaua‘i: 1,997
Moloka‘i: 202
Lana‘i: 139
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,332

A total of 4,036 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 714 have died.
