Police Seek Help Finding 5 Runaway Teens

Hawai‘i Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating five runaways from Hilo.

All were last seen in the area of the 1000 block of Leilani Street on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021, at 7:50 p.m. At the time they were each wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts. and shoes.

Sixteen-year-old Diatson Kosme is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches, 123 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

Sixteen-year-old George Kamuelo is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 5 inches, 115 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

Seventeen-year-old Matthew Westerman is described as being local with a light complexion, 5 feet 7 inches, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Sixteen-year-old Julio Hartman is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches, 120 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

Seventeen-year-old Stanford Killion is described as being local with a medium brown complexion, 5 feet 8 inches, 120 pounds, with shaved black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
