Public Help Sought in Finding Wanted Kona Man

Authorities are seeking the publicʻs help locating a Kailua-Kona man.

Sixty-four-year-old Eliott Evans Moniz was last seen Wednesday, Aug. 25, at a residence in the Kailua-Kona area. He is described as Hawaiian, 5 feet 8 inches, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and balding hair.

He has a tattoo of a leopard on his left chest area. Moniz is also wanted on an outstanding warrant of arrest.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Officer Charles Caldwell-Kaai at 808-326-4646 ext. 253, send an email to [email protected] or call Hawaiʻi Police Department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311.
