HFD Responds to Early Morning House Fire on Aliʻi Drive

No injuries were reported after an early morning structure fire in Keauhou.

Hawaiʻi Fire Department responded to the blaze, located on the 78-6000 block of Aliʻi Drive, at approximately 4:57 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the north corner of the home and spreading rapidly to the rest of the house.

An initial exterior attack was initiated until adequate personnel arrived on scene, HFD stated. Once enough firefighters had arrived, a coordinated interior attack was conducted and the fire was extinguished.

The estimated damage to the home is approximately $100,000.
