HPD Locates Runaway

Hawai‘i Island police reported on Wednesday that 17-year-old Makahiki Moala, who was previously reported as a runaway, has been found.
He was located in Hilo in good health on Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.
The department is often helped in efforts to find missing people and runaways by tips provided from the Big Island community.
