HPD Trying to Identify Unknown Fraud Suspect

Hawai‘i Island police are seeking to identify a fraud suspect.

HPD is asking for public assistance to identify a man who made multiple fraudulent ATM cash withdrawals and purchases using a stolen debit card.

The withdrawals occurred at multiple locations around Hawai‘i County between May 28 and June 15, 2021.  
 
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his 40s, approximately 6-feet tall, weighing around 220 pounds, slightly balding with a crew cut, goatee and possibly wearing glasses.    
 
Police ask anyone with information regarding this investigation to call Officer Joshua Stender of Kona Patrol at (808) 326-4646 ext. 253.
