Bay Clinic is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccination event on Saturday, Aug. 14 for those on the Big Island.
The session will be held at Waiakea High School, located at 155 W Kawili Street in Hilo, from 9 am to 3 pm. All are welcome, though minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent to receive the shot. Only those at least 12 years old and up are eligible.
All three vaccines granted emergency use authorization by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) — Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson — will be available.
Bay Clinic will hold another event on Saturday, Sept. 4 to administer the second dose of the vaccine.
