Big Island Police Advise Public of ‘Armed and Dangerous’ Suspect
Big Island authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for a wanted fugitive.
The Hawai‘i County Police Department (HPD) is seeking 37-year-old Anthony Romero Gonsalves, who should be considered armed and dangerous. He is wanted for an outstanding arrest warrant and for questioning in connection with an unrelated criminal investigation, according to an official release from HPD.
Gonsalves is described as 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing 238 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police caution members of the public not to approach Gonsalves and to immediately contact police.
