Kanani Eve Meridith

Authorities are seeking the public’s help locating a missing Hilo woman.

Forty-eight-year-old Kanani Eve Meridith has not been seen by her family since May 2021. She also has an outstanding bench warrant, according to Hawai‘i police.

Meridith is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, 175 pounds, with a fair complexion, blondish/gray hair, and green eyes. She is known to frequent the Hilo and Puna districts.

Police ask anyone who may have information on Meridith’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311, or Detective Wendall Carter of the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at 808-961-2383 or send an email to Wendall.Carter@hawaiicounty.gov.
