Training at Pōhakuloa Training Area for the month of July involves primarily the Hawai‘i Army National Guard and Army Reserves conducting their annual training, and will involve small arms, mortars, drones and ground maneuvers during day and night hours.

Additionally, aviation units from Wheeler Army Airfield on O‘ahu are conducting aviation training with UH-60 Blackhawk and CH-47 Chinook helicopters.

There are no planned convoys, however, PTA officials will advise the community once requests are submitted.

PTA will also tentatively host mammal hunts in July. The exact dates are yet to be determined. Click here for information on the rules and details.
