Queens’ MarketPlace is celebrating this Independence Day with a collection of star-spangled decorations, family photo opportunities, fun lawn games, and free giveaways, all in a safe, outdoor, and socially-distanced setting.

Due to ongoing public gathering restrictions, Waikoloa Beach Resort is not hosting its annual Fourth of July fireworks show, but it is not stopping Queens’ MarketPlace from celebrating.

The following activities are planned for the long holiday weekend:

FREE POPCORN & GIVEAWAYS (July 4, 11am – 2pm)

Queens’ MarketPlace is giving away sweet treats, small bags of popcorn and patriotic children’s goodies on July 4 between 11am and 2pm in the Coronation Pavilion (located at the center of the shopping center).

LAWN GAMES (July 3-5)

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

A variety of lawn games, including cornhole, ring toss, rope tic tac toe, giant Jenga and giant Connect 4 will be set up in the grassy lawn across from the Coronation Pavilion for families to enjoy and play with all weekend long.

ENTER-TO-WIN (July 3-5)

Balloons, flags and decorations galore will be set up around the property starting Saturday, June 3. Visitors are encouraged to take commemorative pictures with of any of the patriotic decorations. Anyone who tags @queensmarketplace in their social media posts from Fourth of July at Queens’ MarketPlace will be entered to win a $300 gift basket filled with merchandise from Queens’ MarketPlace merchants.

STORE SALES (July 3-5)

Queens’ MarketPlace merchants are offering a variety of special sales and storewide discounts all weekend long.

Also noteworthy, the Waikoloa Shopping Trolley has resumed service in time to transport visitors within Waikoloa Beach Resort to Queens’ MarketPlace to partake in the Fourth of July festivities. The trolley runs daily from noon to 8 pm and stops at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, Waikoloa Beach Marriott, Kings’ Shops and Queens’ MarketPlace.
