HPD Seeks Big Island Man For Questioning in Theft Case

Hawaiʻi Island police are seeking a Big Island man wanted for questioning.

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance to locate 43-year-old Chester Wooten Sr., who is wanted for questioning in connection with a theft investigation that occurred in the District of Ka’u.

Wooten Sr. is described as 6-feet tall, weighing 300 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He is known to frequent the Districts of Kona and Ka’u. 

Anyone with information on Wooten Sr.’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact Detective Donovan Kohara at (808) 326-4646, Ext. 238 or via email at [email protected]

They may also contact the department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
