Big Island Road Closed Due to Downed Power Lines

The Hawai´i Police Department on Monday reported that Highway 11, at mile-marker 103 near Kealia in South Kona, remains closed in both directions due to downed utility lines.
Civil Defense reported that crews are on scene and estimate opening the road later this morning. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes.
