UPDATE: HPD released new information a little before 3 pm Tuesday that Carpenter was located in good health.

Connor Carpenter, of Hilo, has been reported missing.

Hawai’i Island police said the 31-year-old man was last seen in the North Hilo area on the morning of Tuesday, June 15, 2021. He is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 6-feet, 2-inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with blue eyes, long light brown hair and long beard. He was last seen wearing black shorts and yellow t-shirt with the word “Hawaii” on it.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
