Kona Man Sought in Connection to Burglary

Authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted Kona man.
Twenty-eight-year-old Samson Yurong is wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection to a burglary as well as a bench warrant for contempt of court. Hawai’i Police described him as 5-feet-11-inches tall, approximately 175 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Yurong’s whereabouts is urged to call the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311 or Detective Tyler Prokopec at 808-326-4646, ext. 224.
Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
