Authorities seek the public’s help locating a 15-year-old Puna boy, reported as a runaway.

Lejen Lopes was last seen in the Mountain View area on June 3, at approximately 1 p.m. According to Hawai‘i Police, the teen is described as being 5-feet-5-inches tall, 140 pounds, with short brown hair, and green/blue eyes.

Lejen was last seen wearing a neon green shirt, black surf shorts, a black hat, and white Crocs. He was also carrying a black backpack.

Police ask anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Lopes to call the Hawai‘i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
