Military training for the month of June remains steady with just under 1,000 Army soldiers on the base at the Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA).

Training continues to involve rotary wing aircraft (helicopters), MV-22 Osprey tilt- rotor aircraft, small arms, artillery, and mortars. Training is expected during daylight hours and at night.

There are no planned convoys. PTA Public Affairs will advise the community once requests are submitted.

The PTA Change of Command is scheduled for June 15 at 10 am and will be broadcast live on Facebook Call 808-969-2402 for any questions. The ceremony is limited for in-person guests.
