No New COVID Cases Reported on Big Island
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 25 new cases of coronavirus Wednesday. The statewide total is now 36,357. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.
No new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Wednesday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 51 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.1%.

O‘ahu: 26,433
Maui: 3,660
Hawai‘i: 2,904
Kaua‘i: 320
Lana‘i: 112
Moloka‘i: 55
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 1,199
A total of 2,329 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 500 have died.
