Ka‘ū Man Wanted for Questioning in Kona Theft Located

Hawai‘i Island police have located a Ka‘ū man wanted for questioning in regards to a theft that occurred in Kona.

Twenty-eight-year-old Steven Combes, of Nā‘ālehu, was found on May 20. He was questioned regarding a theft that occurred in September 2020 at a retail establishment.

Detectives assigned to the Area II Criminal Investigation Section will continue their investigation into the theft. Once complete, the investigation will be routed to the prosecuting attorney’s office for their disposition.
