The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a winter weather advisory until Friday, May 7, at 11 a.m.

A cumulative of up to three inches of snow is expected on summits above 12,000 feet.

The weather could make travel hazardous due to slick roads and restricted visibility.

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
