HPD Renews Ask For Info on Missing Big Island Teen

Maycee Ahsui-Mendoza

Hawai‘i Island police has renewed its request for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Maycee Ahsui-Mendoza of Pahoa, who was reported as a runaway.
 
Ahsui-Mendoza was last seen in the Kea‘au area on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at 8 pm. She was wearing a gray and white hoodie style sweatshirt, blue jean pants, and black tennis shoes. She is described as Filipino, 5-feet tall, weighing 100-135 pounds, with shoulder length dark brown hair and brown eyes. 
 
Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Corey Kaneko, Juvenile Aid Section, by phone at (808) 961-8843 or email at corey.kaneko@hawaiicounty.gov.
