DWS to Close Hilo Road For Water System Work

The County of Hawai‘i’s Department of Water Supply (DWS) has announced a road closure on multiple days over the next two weeks.

DWS will be closing Mamo Street from Kamehameha Avenue to the intersection of Punahoa Street and Mamo Street for the purpose of installing water system infrastructure. Traffic will be limited to local traffic only.

This road closure will occur in the above-mentioned area on the following days:

Monday, April 12, 2021, from 8 am to Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 8 am

Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 8 am to Friday, April 16, 2021, at 8 am

Tuesday, April 20, 2021, from 8 am to Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at 8 am
