The National Weather Services has issued a winter weather advisory for the Big Island through 6 pm tonight.

Snow, freezing drizzle and freezing fog are forecast for Big Island summits. Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are also expected, as well as winds gusting up to 60 mph.

Those in the area of the summits should plan on slippery road conditions. Snow showers and fog will also significantly reduce visibility at times, with periods of zero visibility.
