Police Seek Public’s Help Finding 13-Year-Old Runaway

Hawai‘i Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old girl reported as a runaway.

Chanel Cumlat-Lewis was last seen at a residence on Kilauea Avenue in Hilo at about 5 p.m. on Friday, March 19.

Chanel is described as having a fair complexion, 5 feet tall, 100 pounds, with long straight brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a peach-colored top, ripped blue jeans, and “Air Jordan” shoes. The teen may be in the Kaumana area of Hilo.

Police are asking for anyone with information on her location to call the police department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311 or Officer C. Barto of Hilo Patrol at 808-961-2213.
